How the team is organized
The customer and TechSoft roles that make up an engagement, and how they connect.
Every engagement is a joint team. The customer side provides the business outcome, access and decisions; the TechSoft side provides leadership, product, design, engineering and operations. Roles are defined by responsibility, not by headcount: on a small engagement one person may hold several roles.
Typical team shapes
| Engagement | Typical team | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Discovery or assessment | Engagement Manager, Business Analyst, Tech Lead (plus Security as needed) | Short and senior-heavy |

| Modernization | Tech Lead, engineers, QA, DevOps, Security | Starts with assessment and characterization tests |
| Workflow automation | BA, AI/Data Engineer, engineers, Security, QA | Process owners from the customer join workshops |
| Monthly engineering | Engagement Manager, Delivery Lead, named engineers, QA, Support | Stable team over time |
